Lot#306 - Beautiful Elgin Women's Pocket Watch. This watch was made in 1905 and is one of only 1,000 made. The size is 0, grade is 320, and it has 7 jewels. Stamped in the cover is "B&B Royal Warranted 20 years." Serial number on the works is 12496012. Winds easily and runs well. White porcelain (?) face with black hands and Roman numeral face. It has red numbers below the Roman numerals to mark the 5 minute increments. Also has smaller second hand at lower edge of face. Hinged front cover and back cover with a dust cover inside the back cover. Believed to be gold plated hunter's style watch with detailed floral etchings on front and back outside covers. Some very minor scratches where the dust cover was opened on back. Barely visible is what I believe to be a hairline crack to porcelain face. Very hard to see.
