Antique Cowan Solid Mahogany Jacobean Drop-Leaf Table and 6 chairs.
These clever tables fold down to a nice portable size and then open wide to accommodate a grouping of six. This table is a Cowan of Chicago brand - revered for quality.
The Jacobean style is from the 1890s and features attractive curves on the legs and chairs. VERY solidly made with braces on each corner. These are chairs someone could teeter on and they'd hold up (not that you'd want to, but just sayin')
It also has two hidden drawers at each end. Perfect for silverware, serving ware or place markers for your guest. Finished off with two tassels that match the fabric on the chairs.
The chairs have been professionally re-upholstered with a high quality Jacquard floral pattern.
The table has one spot where something hot was put on it, some tiny dimples and two scratches - all very re-finishable and hidden under a tablecloth (included).
Included with the table is a beautiful vintage off-white colored cotton lace tablecloth.
