Description:

A trio of artist portrayed sculptures of Mexican vendors:

  • A tall man in a hat is showing his handmade Molcajete/mortar and pestle, wearing a patterned tunic and neck scarf
  • seated woman showing a basket of ceramic pots, wearing a headscarf and white blouse
  • woman selling nuts from her basket, wearing a patterned skirt and a headscarf.

All are made from paper that has been lacquered solid continuing the long held tradition of Mexican paper mache figures. Tallest figure stands 11.75 inches tall.
