Lot# 121 - Antique -Wonderful sturdy solid dark wood office desk and chair. Desk is standard style with three drawers to the left and four drawers down the right. Center pencil drawer has a narrow divided depression strip in front for housing paper clips, rubber bands, pencils or whatever small office supplies you need close at hand. Center drawer’s right pull has come off, but it is in the drawer, ready for repair. Drawers are solid and feature dovetail construction. Top has three sections divided by darker accent wood strips. A few paint chipped areas from normal use, as expected for a desk of this age. No issues with construction - it’s solid and has a lot more years of use left in it. No maker’s mark on desk. Measures 30" high x 46" wide x 24" deep. The accompanying chair is also dark wood with a lyre back design and a patterned and padded fabric seat. Fits this desk perfectly. Chair is marked with original sticker underneath: Hallmark Quality Furniture.
